Digital Media Manager

PURPOSE OF YOUR WORK

At Checkers & Rally’s we make a difference in people’s lives by serving our Franchisees, Teams, and Guests. Manager of Digital/Social leads the brand’s paid and earned/organic efforts in these channels. As such, the manager oversees the development and execution of strategies that optimize marketing efforts to keep the brand top-of-mind by acquiring, engaging consumers and perpetuating the brand through relevant, timely and compelling communication that builds affinity and causes people to act.

 

This role is critical to the brand’s success in building positive, long-term and meaningful relationships by making emotional connections with our team members, guests and communities.

 

HOW YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY

  • Developing and Maintaining Positive brand Reputation – using digital and social resources including the customer data platform, partners with peers to build positive, long-term and meaningful relationships by making emotional connections with team members, guests and communities. Leads proactive, real-time organic social monitoring, response and brand building plans including (but not limited to) owned Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, channels.
  • Drives Guest Acquisition, Engagement, Advocacy and Action – executes ongoing, proactive and fully-inclusive interactive strategies to continually target and acquire new guests, engage them in the brand, inspire them to become advocates of the brand and drive them to action – visits, sales, RSVP signups, orders, sharing, etc.
  • Manages all paid Digital Activation– Develops industry-leading strategy and execution of digital channel marketing including (but not limited to) digital media, retargeting, and digital acquisiton.  Creates the strategy for each platform and manages the process from content creation to executing the buy to measuring the impact. Helps define key metrics and measurements of success and proactively monitors for effective and efficient delivery/ROI.  Educates franchisees and field marketing team members in digital campaign strategies that can be applied to their markets. Develops synergistic relationships with key digital partners.  Responsible for managing development of digital creative with team.  Plans include system-wide activation, co-op plans, and local plans.  Integrates digital and social activation into an overall synergistic communications strategy and plan.
  • Manages Social Communication Strategy and Execution – Uses organic and paid social media to multiply top-of-mind awareness by engaging consumers and perpetuating sharing. Works with Director and marketing team to develop ongoing social strategy and execution leveraging brand, promotions, menu, experience and organic social discussion.  “Always on” monitoring of social channels to protect the brand, mine opportunities for sharing, encourage dialogue, gain consumer insights, identify trends, and drive top-of-mind awareness.  Proactively monitors social channels and develops measurements and ROI.

YOU’VE GOT THIS?

  • Inspirational energy, excitement and passion for all things social/digital
  • Able to manage multiple projects and programs to deliver results
  • 5+ years’ experience in consumer digital and social marketing, technically proficient with a strong ability to execute
  • Technically proficient with proven experience leading the social and digital execution including the management of social platforms and digital channels
  • Familiarity with programmatic tech shack, including ad serving, DSPs, DMPs, and uploading 1st party data through live ramp
  • Strong familiarity with SEO/SEM and keyword searches
  • Proven ability to use Social and Digital platforms to deliver specific outcomes – organic and paid
  • Strong experience in proactively monitoring and measuring social and digital efforts
  • Proven aptitude for leading with organic social and digital efforts, using paid opportunities to amplify messages
  • Mastery of executing digital, social and interactive marketing plans
  • Strong project leadership skills
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and managing complex projects through concept development, launch and scaling efforts
  • At the forefront of identifying, testing and leveraging digital, social and digital trends
  • Strong interpersonal partnership skills
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, or restaurants is preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Marketing field
  • Dedication to accuracy and attention to detail
  • Capability to manage budgets
