Employee Engagement Specialist

As a member of the People team you will be, “Enriching People’s Lives Through Their Crazy Good Experience” by maintaining and evolving the employee engagement strategy. The Employee Engagement Specialist will develop and deploy programs centered around employee feedback, recognition, and retention while supporting leaders to ensure all employees are held in the highest regard.



  • Under the direction of the Employee Relations Manager, support engagement programs’ action planning, communication tools, supplemental feedback collection processes and reporting out the data on a periodic and quarterly basis
  • Working with leaders to develop action plans to improve engagement and reduce turnover
  • Driving rewards and recognition strategies to increase employee engagement and drive business results
  • Upholding the employment branding strategies by evolving job descriptions, content creation on social platform (such as LinkedIn and Glassdoor), Checkers & Rally’s careers site, employment branding collateral and other related projects as the need arises
  • Conduct Exit Interviews
  • Providing general clerical and office administrative support to the People Team
  • Arranging travel and calendar appointments for People Team
  • Processing People Support invoices and supply orders
  • Coordinate monthly employee milestone celebrations for the RSC
  • Operating as back up to the front desk Administrative Assistant, covering lunches and other shifts as needed



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years’ of human resources experience or a combination of experience and education
  • Subject matter experience in employee engagement programs including but not limited to performance management and employee recognition
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to analyze information, think independently, and drive ideas into action
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills
  • High energy with a positive, customer-centric attitude
