Financial Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY: The Financial Analyst will have primary responsibilty for downloading, organizing and formatting data used for all analytical purposes at Checkers/Rally’s. This individual will work closely with Finance team members and leadership to understand analytical data requirements, query the data warehouse, and properly report and/or format data in a consistent and timely manner. In addition, this individual will support budgeting activities and complete ad hoc analytical requests as required.


  • Proactive, Independent Data Queries
    • Ensures all data needs fr ongoing analytical processes are consistently met with little to no supervision
    • Wrks with IT dept to optimize data warehouse tools
    • Ensures data is accurate and adheres t high quality standards
    • Prcesses Ad hoc requests as needed
  • Period Business Reviews
    • Assists with updating all charts, graphs, and slides fr use in management reporting activities
    • Maintains and updates all peridic data tables and analyze as directed
  • Operational and/or Marketing Analysis as Needed
    • Partners with Operatins Analysis Manager and Marketing Analysis Manager to provide insights/recommendations according to business needs

  • Ability to effectively gather stats and respond to questions from multiple customers including outside services, field management and various corporate departments.

  • Bachelor Degree in a related field.



  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Internet software.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite, data manipulation.
  • Experience with SQL databases preferred.
  • Experience in Restaurant or Retail industries preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau preferred.


Essential Physical Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret written information such as procedure manuals, Company communications or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to Travel may be required to attend off-site training, meetings and seminars.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods in one location which may be restricted to the employee’s workstation.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
