New Restaurant Opening Training Manager

As a member of the People Learning & Development team you will be, “Enriching People’s Lives Through Their Crazy Good Experience” by creating training processes for new restaurant openings and leveraging and developing the nationwide pool of certified trainers to execute on standard operating procedures. Must have the ability to inspire, and has a contagious enthusiasm for investing in people that will help build our bench, and fuel our future growth while strengthening our culture and the brand.



  • Manage large scale projects such as developing and leading training processes for new restaurant openings for both Company & Franchise restaurants
  • Coach all manager levels in the restaurant and senior field leaders
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to establish consistent training protocol for new restaurant openings.
  • Lead in-restaurant standard operating procedure training and “train the trainer” sessions
  • Develop and monitor the effectiveness of the new restaurant opening and re-imaging training programs
  • Create reporting that captures return measurements (ROI), communicate and manage the success of various training programs to key stakeholders
  • Implement the People Learning & Development strategy which supports the overall business objectives and helps promote a culture of learning



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • QSR experience preferred
  • 5+ years of  training and restaurant operations experience with a focus in hospitality and a true passion to develop people
  • Experience in leading new restaurant opening teams
  • Proven results in creating new restaurant opening training processes
  • Unwavering high standards
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles
  • High energy with a positive, servant leadership attitude

  • Demonstrate restaurant business management and operations acumen
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
