Senior Director of Finance

PURPOSE OF YOUR WORK

As a member of our team you will be, responsible for partnering closely with the President, CFO, and functional leaders as this critical role will facilitate and maintain an environment of consistency, efficiency, and clear accountability in the management of the company. You will be influencing the organization through the analysis of business performance and projecting future performance. 

 

HOW YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY

  • Providing a basis for actions and decision making through developing an analytical framework that support the business daily
  • Develop and continually improve detailed forecasting processes and models to support the long and short term needs of the business
  • Creates a clear view and accountability into the organizations financial commitments
  • Collaborating with controllership to clearly and consistently analyses variances in a meaningful volume and price structure format that is aligned/supports the management of the business
  • Participating and at times leading, cross-functional projects and teams
  • Managing the tools and processes regarding on-going customer / contract / portfolio and / or product profitability assessment and approval as it relates to commercial finance 
  • Leading ad hoc business modelling in support of the Executive leadership team as circumstances require
  • Maintain and cultivate a talented and engaged financial planning and analysis team to support the business needs


YOU’VE GOT THIS?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field 
  • 5+ years’ of senior level Finance manager/analyst with proven experience in FP&A process management and development 
  • Strong intermediate to expert skills in SAP, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
