The Sr. Director of Restaurant Operations Strategy & Innovation leads the company efforts in operational change and innovation, and is responsible for assuring the smooth, logical, and cost-effective prioritization, timing (pacing and sequencing), testing,and quality assurance of company program implementation. As a strategic leader the Sr. Director of Restaurant Operations Strategy& Innovation identifies emerging trends in restaurant technologies and systems advancements, and critical opportunities for competitive differentiation while also assuring successful resource management, cost control, and asset protection. The Sr. Director of Restaurant Operations Strategy & Innovation assists with the ongoing education of operations managers in areas related to program-based change management, and championing/modeling the entrepreneurial spirit. This position works closely with internal and cross functional groups/partners within and outside the company.



  • Sets operating standards and systematically evaluates operating systems and standards. Monitors restaurant performance against standards and implements solutions to improve performance. Provides the appropriate data to ensure leadership consensus and buy-in.  Recommends and prioritizes initiatives.
  • Identifies and implements major improvement projects involving new processes and/or new technology. Reduces costs and provides documented improvements.
  • Directs and mentors all positions within the operations support departments; Leads cross-functional teams and serves as the concept’s line of business contact to ensure a high level of engagement and success for all initiatives that have operational impact
  • Works with each business unit and R&D on products to define target for each product. Supports the Training department with content and subject matter expertise for successful implementation of new/revised programs.
  • Uses all company channels and mediums of communication effectively and efficiently; ensures all field team members receive critical information and direction in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Collaborates with People Development leadership to support corporate learning objectives associated with program implementation that impacts field operations.
  • Drives and maintains a high-impact operations calendar to align timing, resources and operational readiness for all field-focused initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 10 years of restaurant experience, preferably in the QSR segment of the industry
